Description
A copy of Governor Shapp's speech draft announcing the launch of the Childhunt campaign. Following the ruling from the Federal Courts that guaranteed public education for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities between the ages of 5 and 21, Governor Shapp created the campaign to locate all Pennsylvania citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities and enroll them in public schools. Clapp wrote notes on throughout this draft.
