Description
A copy of a letter from Dr. William Beach, Deputy Secretary for Mental Health and Mental Retardation office, to Clapp responding to her inquiry regarding the possibility of demolishing a number of facilities at state institutions. During Clapp's tenure, PARC fought to deinstitutionalize the state and provide better living conditions for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities than what the state institutions offered.
