A copy of a news release from the Allegheny County Chapter of PARC (ACC-PARC) supporting Helene Wohlgemuth, Secretary of the Department of Public Warfare, and her decision to remove Dr. James McClelland as superintendent of the Polk State School and Hospital. Wohlgemuth removed McClelland from his position on April 16, 1973, after a site visit that discovered patients placed in cages and restrained in demeaning manners.
