Description
St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Center Avenue and Agatha Street was dedicated in 1923 and served its congregation for many years. In 1970 members of St. Paul’s congregation organized the community’s “Meals on Wheels” program. In time the congregation dwindled, and in the mid-2000s the church was closed. Today (in 2011) the building serves to house the Pitcairn Historical Society and Museum, and it continues to house the “Meals on Wheels” program still helping invalids and shut-ins.
