  • Ten people stand, seven of them with oars, for this group photograph, evidently taken after some kind of morning drill. They alternate between men and women in the line. The young man in the center wears an absurdly large hat. In the late 19th and early 20th century Oakmont was a popular summer camping destination. Originally from the collection of Mrs. Chester P. Gallagher, Rosslyn Farms, Carnegie, PA.
