  • These four women, members of the W.E. & M. Relay team pose for a photograph. The photographer also labeled this shot 'police meet' indicating that perhaps these women were competing in a local competition. The J.R. Hunter photographic collection contains several photographs of women athletes, particularly swimmers. This photograph appears to be of a track relay team, an anomaly in the J.R. Hunter Collection. Any additional information regarding the ladies in this photograph would be welcomed.
