  • This image shows what is likely the backyard of the Bailey house. There are some nice stone steps into the yard. The house, a three-story white colonial, was built in 1904 by Charles and wife Clara. In 1923, the house was sold to the Fownes family. The yard contains many large trees and must have been nice on hot summer days. The house is located at1037 Hulton Road. The Oakmont Carnegie Library Archives has several boxes of documents relating the Bailey family, donated by Margaret Bailey in the late 1980s, including paperwork and photographs belonging to Charles Bailey.
