Description
In 1942, the Flowers decided to move their house from its location on Pennsylvania Avenue to a spot on nearby Second Street. Moving the house took three days. For the duration of the move, the Flowers family continued to live in their house, suffering little to no inconvenience from their location-shifting. From the front of the home, this photograph shows workers on the roof, under the home laboring to move the Flowers Home. Also, not that the Flowers did not even move the chairs from off their front porch for the move. Originally from the Len Flowers Collection.
