  • The Hites operated a large scale chicken farming operation located on Allegheny River at the foot of Pennsylvania Avenue until it was greatly damaged by fire in the 1930s. This photograph shows the intense damage the fire ravaged on the roof of this building. Originally from the collection of Len Flowers.
