Description
Several homes, including a tall bird house, on Oakmont Avenue (now Allegheny River Boulevard) and Plum Street are threatened by increasing flood waters during the 1936 St. Patrick's Day Flood. The railroad tracks in the background are also overtaken by flood waters, and power lines appear to be next. Over 130 buildings were damaged in Oakmont alone.
