  • Boone's house, a lovely home on Oakmont Avenue, now Allegheny River Boulevard, is front and center here. This photo, taken from above, shows the railroad tracks behind the house, as well as an amazing view of the flood waters that surround it. Over 130 buildings were damaged in Oakmont alone.
