Description
The photographer stands amidst the snow to take a photograph of the railroad tracks from a distance. Quite a large number of people have gathered on the railroad tracks to examine the damage done by the deep water along Oakmont Avenue, now Allegheny River Boulevard, by the St. Patrick's Day Flood. Oakmont Avenue is visible on the right side of the photo. Over 130 buildings were damaged by the flood in Oakmont alone.
