Description
Established in 1952 by the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, St. Anthony's School for Exceptional Children was built on Hulton Road between Thirteenth and Fifteenth Streets. Previous to this, St. Anthony's had been an orphanage run by the Catholic Diocese. Torn down in the 1980s, the original marble from St. Anthony's adorns the lobby of the renovated Oakmont Carnegie Library.
