Description
Many people stand on the Hulton Bridge to watch debris float down the Allegheny River during the 1936 St. Patrick's Day Flood. Here a large tank was swept away from an oil refinery several miles upriver in Oil City. The flood caused damage to over 130 buildings and structures in the Oakmont area alone.
