The company purchased and sold candy, chocolate, and other sweets from Pittsburgh manufacturers including the Gardiner-Lucas Company, Inc., Pennsylvania Chocolate Company, C.S. Hixon Candy Company, and Hardie Brothers Company. Most of the products Fort Pitt Candy purchased came from large candy manufacturers such as Hershey Chocolate Company, Knickerbocker Chocolate Company in New York, and the William Wrigley Jr. Company in Chicago.
