  • Description
  • Henry Ellenbogen writes to Chase National Bank. Ellenbogen confirms receipt of letter and informs them that they sent Circular No. 2044 of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York rather than a copy of Executive Order No. 8389. Ellenbogen asks that they send the correct order. Ellenbogen instructs the bank to deposit the funds in August Mehring's account in a suitable account in Ellenbogen's name and requests that they make an application to the Treasury Department.
