  • Description
  • Steven McKula was born in 1898 to Slovak parents who had immigrated from Austria. McKula grew up in the area and talks about his first job at a glasshouse. He later worked in coal mining for over 50 years, performed carpentry work in Detroit, and eventually worked at a garment plant.
