Description
A young man stands, one hand on his head and one on his hip, in front of Gasparich's Market. To the right, a man emerges from The Red Rose Inn. Above that, a hanging sign advertises Schlitz, "the beer that made Milwaukee famous." The market was located at 850 Allegheny River Boulevard and opened in the early 1920s (exact dates vary). Gasparich's remained in business until 1962. Originally from the collection of Helen Maryanski.
