  • Oakmont, along with Pittsburgh, rarely gets very heavy snows. The year 1951 brought deep snow to Oakmont, as seen here. The tree in the foreground makes placing the location quite difficult, however the hood of a vehicle is visible through the tree branches in the lower right corner.
