Description
St. Irenaeus celebrated their first Mass on March 17, 1907, in a building on the corner of Second Street and Delaware Avenue that had been purchased from the Episcopal Church. The growing congregation necessitated a change in location, and on December 7, 1952 the new cornerstone of the St. Irenaeus Church was blessed at 387 Maryland Avenue, where they are still located today.
