Description
Alumnae of PCW meet for their annual reunion banquet. Alumnae Association president, Mrs. Sarah Bryant Stevenson (Class of 1894) introduced the speakers at this event, including College President, Chalmers Martin, who spoke on "The Faculty;" Mrs. Grace Watson Warmcastle (Class of 1877), who spoke on "The Ideal Alumna" and welcomed the Class of 1902; Miss Margaret E. McKinney (Class of 1902), who offered a "Response for the Graduating Class;" Miss Annie D. Kearns (Class of 1894), who spoke on "The Smart Set;" Mrs. Elizabeth L. Barnes Watson (Class of 1893), who spoke on "Domestic Science at a Woman's College;" and Mrs. Ida M. McCandless Stone (Class of 1898), who spoke on “Our College.” The menu consisted of little neck clams, portage à la crème, fish soufflé and cucumbers, sweetbread patés, green peas, pineapple sherbet, asparagus, roast beef, potatoes, lettuce and tomato salad, cheese wafers, ice cream, cakes, strawberries, café noir, crackers, and cheese.
