Description
Coffin, a professor of English at Bowdoin College, prolific writer, and Pulitzer Poetry Prize winner for Strange Holiness (1935), signs copies of his recent works for the admiring student autograph hunters. Saltwater Farm (1937) and Maine Ballads(1938) are shown at this session. The two day campus visit included an address at Sunday Vespers entitled "My experience in Poetry."
