Description
The 1700-foot long, 600,000 square-foot Pennsylvania Railroad Company freight warehouses as seen from the corner of 12th Street and Liberty Avenue in Pittsburgh’s Strip District neighborhood. The modern buildings, one two-story and the other one-story, were fireproof and housed an extensive sprinkler system. The structures, in a modified form, are presently standing and house corporate offices.
