H.J. Heinz Company employee Olga Radosevich works on a wing section to be used in the construction of gliders during World War II. Part of the H.J. Heinz plant was devoted to the construction of glider wings as part of a war emergence effort. Employees like Olga drove thousands of nails in the production effort. Once completed, the wings were shipped to a plant in Troy, Ohio, to be assembled with other parts to produce gliders for use in major battles of World War II.
