Description
Description of the photograph reads, “Tinting, as shown being done above, is a highly skilled art by which the batch of paint is brought to exact color through the addition of various tinting pastes. The tinting mediums, in most instances, are colored pigments ground in special tinting vehicles to form pastes. Samples from each batch are taken from time to time and carefully checked in the control laboratory. Technicians check against established standards for color, brushing properties, drying, body and many other factors.”
