Description
John Fraser Hall, a senior citizen apartment complex in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, was named in honor of John Gilbert Frazer, a fur trader and blacksmith. Frazer proved to be valuable to the local Native American community because of his knowledge of gunsmithing, and his ability to repair their tools and shoe their horses. John Grazer was a Scotsman who played the bag pipes and whose cabin was built on Turtle Creek Stream before there were any houses in Pittsburgh.
