Description
Aerial view of the Golden Triangle with the Fort Duquesne Bridge on the lower right, the Manchester Bridge (second from the right), the Fort Pitt Bridge in the upper left, the Point Bridge (second from the left) and the West End Bridge in the far background. Both the Point and Manchester bridges were demolished in 1970 making way for the fountain at the Point. The Fort Duquesne Bridge, still under construction, was opened for traffic on October 17, 1969. The large circular construction on the right would later become Three Rivers Stadium.
