Description
The Caretaker’s House, maintained by the Daughters of the American Revolution, stood adjacent to the Fort Pitt Blockhouse in Point State Park before it was demolished in 1966 to make way for the development of a museum devoted to early Pittsburgh history and the story of Fort Pitt.
