Description
The Carnegie Institute of Technology Mellon campus, known today as Carnegie Mellon University. In the foreground (right) is Flagstaff Hill, which is still a favorite location for outdoor concerts. Along the edge of Flagstaff Hill are classroom buildings. To the left of the central mall is the Hamerschlag Building, which has become a central part of the expanding technology and robotics division of the university. At the opposite end of the mall (right center) is the Fine Arts Building, home of the world famous Carnegie Mellon Drama School.
