Description
The Grant Building, located at 330 Grant Street at Fourth Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh, was built in 1927 and was constructed of limestone and brick. The architect was Henry Hornbostel. It has forty floors, and the neon-covered beacon tower was the largest at the time it was built. It spells “Pittsburgh” in Morse code.
