Description
Dilworth School, located on Stanton and Collins Avenues, was opened in 1915. Architects Vrydaugh and Wolfe designed the original building. In 1927 a new auditorium was added to the building. The school was named for the previous owner of the property, John C. Dilworth. In 2003 the school was known as the Dilworth Traditional Academy, which specialized in a highly structured learning environment with emphasis on language, math, and science at intermediate and primary levels.
