Description
Students Darol Favor, left, and Leonard Lesesne learn basic maintenance skills for a copy machine in their visual communication class. Herron Hill Junior High School, opened in 1928 at Avalon Street and Centre Avenue in the City of Pittsburgh, provided a combination of academic and vocational education for grades 7, 8, and 9. The school closed in 1974 and following remodeling, reopened in 1976 as the Margaret Milliones Technology Academy.
