In 1906 a new structure was built on Carrick Avenue when the new borough of Carrick withdrew from Baldwin Township. In 1927 Concord School became part of the Pittsburgh pubic school system when Carrick was annexed by the City of Pittsburgh. A new Concord Elementary School, located at 2350 Brownsville Road and designed by architect M.M. Steen, was built in 1939. The school serves the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Carrick.
