Description
An advisor at the front of the classroom talking with Oliver High School students. David B. Oliver High School was named in honor of David B. Oliver, who served the Pittsburgh public schools for fifty years. For many years, Oliver was president of the Allegheny Board of School Control. Active in formulating the Pennsylvania School Code, he later served as president of the Pittsburgh Board of Public Education.
