Description
Taylor Allderdice High School, located in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood, serves the communities of East Hills, Greenfield, Hazelwood, Lincoln Place, New Homestead, Park Place, Regent Square, Squirrel Hill, Swisshelm Park, and portions of Homewood and Point Breeze. The school, built in 1927, has an enrollment of approximately 1,567 students in 2003 and offered programs and services that included, the Centers for Advanced Studies (CAS), the Pittsburgh Scholars Program (PSP), Advanced Placement courses, Pre-Engineering magnet, and the Robert Morris Dual Enrollment Program.
