Description
Grandview Elementary School, located on 845 McLain Street, opened in 1962 and services the Allentown section of Pittsburgh. The architects that designed the structure were Press C. Dowler and William Dowler. In 2003, the average class size was 20 pupils and total enrollment was approximately 328. The school offers special programs such as, Life Skills Support, the Publishing Center and the Summer Academic Program. In addition, the school offers Internet access for all students in their homerooms and a spectacular view of the Pittsburgh city skyline.
