Description
In 1934-35 students at Herron Hill Junior High School presented a program entitled “Songs As We See Them,” featuring the school chorus and orchestra. Herron Hill School served much of the Hill District and several of the surrounding neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. It was renamed Margaret Milliones Middle School when it opened after remodeling in 1976 to honor the prominent citizen of the Hill District. Today, it is named Margaret Milliones Technology Academy and serves students from many Pittsburgh neighborhoods.
