Description
This is a view of the mantle end of the ballroom of the William Croghan House (Picnic House) in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County. The Greek Revival house was constructed about 1835. This photograph is found on p. 129 of Stotz's 1936 book entitled Early Architecture of Western Pennsylvania (image A1-31f).
