  • Siblings Jackie and Rochelle Solomon jump off the porch of the Pittsburgh Child Guidance Center. Helen Solomon, their mother, walks behind them. A sign on the porch names the building as the Child Guidance Center. This image is part of a series within this collection called the Jackie Solomon Story. Some of the images in this series were used in an article written by Esther Bubley in the December 1951 edition of Pageant Magazine titled, "A Matter of Love." The article featured 21 pictures Bubley took of the Solomon family, capturing Jackie with his and family and attending the Pittsburgh Child Guidance Center. Pseudonyms are used for Jackie Solomon and Rochelle Solomon in the article. They are referred to as "Tommy" and "Alice," respectively.
