Description
H. C. Frick Coke Company, shaft #2. Henry Clay Frick (1849-1919) organized the H. C. Frick Coke Company in 1871. The company was to become one of the largest coke-producing firms in the world, and Frick was an undisputed "king of coke." he sold this product to Carnegie, and became a millionaire by age 30.
