Description
View of the official opening of the Bi-centennial Railroad Fair, sponsored by the Community Relations Committee of Pittsburgh Railroads and featuring the exhibition of Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Steam Locomotive Number 25. This locomotive was also known as the William Mason, a name acquired when it was first exhibited at the 1893 Columbian Exposition. It was built by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company in 1856 and rebuilt in 1926. In the background the Liberty Bridge and other railroad cars can be seen.
