  • Looking north west along Penn Avenue towards the intersection with Stanwix Street. In view is the Joseph Horne Company department store. Founded in 1849, the store was built in 1892 with additions and renovations over the years to come. In 1994 the department store was merged with F&R Lazarus & Company (Lazarus). The building is now occupied by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.
