Description
A view of West Carson Street during construction to widen the road, looking east towards the southwest corner of South Main Street. The bell tower seen on the right belonged to Riverside School. The school, built in 1882, was located at 1740 West Carson Street. Riverside Grade School was closed in 1911; the high school was closed in 1923. The property was sold in 1952 for $2,700 for commercial development.
