Description
A view of two bosses overseeing the pouring of concrete in the arch of "Type A" section of the Corliss Street Tunnel. The tunnel was built in a series of improvements by the Bureau of Engineering to connect Corliss Street and West Carson Street more efficiently. Across the Ohio River, Pittsburgh Brass Company and a tannery are visible, as well as several unidentified churches and homes.
