Description
A view of a group of men repairing the sewer break at the Carnegie Steel Company mills caused by the Thirty-third Street Sewer Explosion. Some men hold on to ropes and poles while sawing beams to prevent themselves from falling into the rushing water. Many other workers gather to watch, some of whom smoke pipes as they observe the situation.
