A view of Polish Hill during reconstruction efforts following the Thirty-third Street Sewer Explosion. The view shows the plant and dykes being installed to prevent flooding. The view is looking west from Cayuga Street and includes advertisements for Blue Label Ketchup, Old Rover Tobacco, Gazette Times, and Kaufmann's Department store, among others. An unidentified church is visible in the background.
