  • Rev. James Robinson, Pastor Emeritus of Bidwell Presbyterian Church, a member and Chair of the Citizens' Clergy Coordinating Committee, Member of the Pittsburgh School Board, former candidate for city council and director of the Manchester Youth Development Center. Going to Pitt after graduating in 1945, and playing football there. Being drafted into the Army after a year, then returning to Pitt. Being drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 1949, but then being drafted into the Army again. Playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers briefly. Studying at Western Theological Seminary, and the beginning of this career in KS and OK. Experiencing racial tensions as a pastor and in/around the church communities he pastored for.
