  • Mary Roberts Rinehart's correspondence sorted alphabetically under the letter "R", including personal correspondence with Mary Randolph, Rosie Reid (Mrs. Duncan Reid), Adelaide R. Roberts, James A. Roberts, Kenneth Roberts, A. Walter Rinehart, Edward and Helen Rinehart who are living in St. Petersburg, and Mary O. Rinehart regarding her song "Make Mine Love". Also included is financial correspondence with Dr. Algernon B. Reese, Paul R. Reynolds & Son, and with Rolls Royce regarding the purchase of a used limousine. There is political correspondence with Jane H. Todd regarding the Republican campaign of 1944. Rinehart writes to Lida Bonfield providing a reference for her former servant Nellie Reilly. There is a letter from Clarence A. Mannon regarding his book "The Rineharts of America", and a letter from Theodore Goodridge Roberts suggesting his lines of poetry were used without attribution in the novel "Lost Ecstasy", as well as correspondence with Helen Eileen Rogers regarding an analysis of Mary Roberts Rinehart's handwriting.
