Description
Residents walk near the Mainway Supermarket located on Center Avenue in the Hill District. Other businesses visible include Med Centre Drug, Boyd's, and the Ellis Hotel. The supermarket, owned by Max and Harry S. Poldolsky, was destroyed during the 1968 riots which occurred after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
