  • Official Youth Olympiad informational pamphlet containing descriptions of the Youth Olympiad event itself and a breakdown of each sport being offered. The pamphlet provides information on available clinics and classes within each sport as well dates, times, locations, and awards that are offered for each event within the sport. Each sport's division separated the children between gender and age into their own leagues. Another small section describes the sport events that tie in with national events where a handful of the best participates in each sport would have the opportunity to represent the City of Pittsburgh while competing against kids from other cities across the country. Also included is a list special programs and events being offered by the Department of Parks and Recreation for the summer of 1968.
